Natalie "Fox" Maisel is a Legislative Ambassador with the Texas Humane Legislation Network (THLN), where she has spent years advocating for stronger animal protection laws across Texas. Working directly with state legislators and policymakers, she helps advance humane legislation that improves the lives of companion animals and supports responsible animal welfare initiatives throughout the state.
A passionate animal advocate, Fox is also deeply involved in rescue efforts and community education, helping connect citizens with practical ways they can make a difference for animals through advocacy, volunteering, and civic engagement. She believes that every Texan has the power to create positive change, whether from home or by becoming actively involved in the legislative process.
In today's presentation, Fox will share how ordinary citizens can help create a more humane Texas by supporting effective animal welfare legislation and engaging with their elected officials. Joining her will be Animal Control Officer Amy Henderson, who will provide insights into the current state of animal welfare and animal control issues in our local community.
