Special Guest: Lt. Colonel Rob Hefner
TOPIC: Resilience
In 24 years of service in the US Army, Rob Hefner rose from the rank of E4, specialist, to Lieutenant Colonel. While in uniform he completed a Master’s Degree in Management . During that time he deployed to Bosnia and Iraq and earned the Legion of Merit and the Bronze Star, among several other awards.
After retiring in 2014, he settled into a job building homes and spends his available time with Seabrook Rotary, the Shrine Club, and SERVE, a veteran’s non profit that serves Galveston County. His passion to serve his community has led him to a position on Seabrook City Council while serving on the Board of Adjustments, City Charter Review Commission, and Planning and Zoning while staying busy doing nonprofit work for our local Veterans.
