Chris Kinard
is running for Galveston County Judge because it's time for new leadership. She envisions a collaborative approach that prioritizes innovation and values every county employee—from department heads to frontline workers. By fostering a workplace culture that harnesses diverse talents and ideas, Chris is committed to creating a fresh, effective path forward for Galveston County.
A lifelong Republican, Chris has been deeply involved in Galveston County's political community. As former vice-president of the Galveston Republican Women's Club (GRW), she played a key role in enhancing voter engagement and advancing local Republican initiatives. Beyond politics, Chris served on the board of directors for Adria, a pregnancy crisis center in Galveston County, and is a prospective member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). She attended North Texas State University and, along with her husband John, attends Clear Creek Community Church in League City.
Chris has built a diverse professional background throughout her career. She spent four years at an oral surgery practice in Kansas City, gaining experience in all aspects of practice management, followed by 12 years as the Marketing and Public Relations Specialist at Oral Surgery Associates in Webster.
