Dear Friends,

Among the many differences between me and my opponent, I am the only candidate in the race with any grassroots experience.

I have served as a precinct chair and an election judge. I was the president of Magic Circle Republican Women’s Club and the Greater Houston Council of Federated Republican Women. I have block walked and phone banked for many candidates, additionally holding meet and greets and fundraisers for Republican candidates.

Before being elected Chair of the Harris County Republican Party, I dedicated 5 years as Treasurer of the Party and served on the Finance Committee.

I am a former Bellaire City Council member and 4-term Mayor of the City of Bellaire–something that wouldn’t have happened without grassroots support.

My opponent’s only grassroots experience came from serving as HCRP’s Finance Chair, a role he abandoned not once, but twice. The last time he quit was three months before the November 2022 election – letting down not only the Party but our candidates. He lacks experience as a precinct chair, election worker, and poll watcher. His only prior election bid was in 2012, resulting in a significant loss for a seat on the Piney Point City Council.

My opponent does not understand what the role of Chairman is, and, because of his lack of grassroots and political experience, the learning curve will be steep in this presidential election year when so much is at stake, both here in Harris County and in our country.

We do not have time for on-the-job training. This election is too important, and I need your support.
