Dr. Bobby Eberle is a conservative political analyst, writer, commentator, and owner of GOPUSA.com as well as a professional race car driver and former aerospace engineer.
Dr. Eberle has served in conservative, Republican leadership roles at the county, state, and national levels. He was a delegate to the 2000 Republican National Convention and covered the 2004 Republican National Convention as a member of the media. He served as the State Chairman for the Texas Young Republican Federation and as the Vice Chairman at Large for their National Federation. Eberle served on the rules committee for the Republican Party of Texas and has been a delegate to numerous state conventions.
He has also served as campaign manager a U.S. congressional race, was a candidate for Vice Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas, and has served on the Board of Directors of the Texas Lyceum Association, whose members boast such notables as President George W. Bush, Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison, and Governor Rick Perry.
Dr. Eberle currently hosts the 13-Minute News Hour on YouTube. As a recognized leader in conservative politics, he has been profiled in both USA Today (as a “powerbroker” of Internet politics) and Insight Magazine (for using the web to spread the GOP story). His opinion pieces have been featured in numerous publications including the Washington Times, Human Events, FoxNews.com and the Houston Chronicle.
Dr. Eberle has appeared on the One America News NetworkFoxNews.com’s Strategy Room, MSNBC with Joe Scarborough, NBC Houston, and has been a guest on numerous radio programs including Sirius/XM Satellite Radio, Bloomberg Radio, the G. Gordon Liddy Show, Fox Radio and Dennis Miller.
Dr. Eberle is a former nationally ranked tennis player, achieving the rank of #10 in the nation for the Men’s 30 and over division as a 40 year old. Dr. Eberle drove on the Road to Indy series auto-racing series. He is the three-time National Champion in the Indy Pro 2000 division, Expert Class, with the next step up being Indy Lights. Dr. Eberle has volunteered extensively with the engineering students at Texas A&M University, giving them the opportunity to attend practices and races to see real engineering in action.
Dr. Eberle received his Bachelor of Science degree in aerospace engineering from Texas A&M University, followed by M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Rice University in Houston, Texas. He worked at NASA for twelve years for several contractors, before leaving to start his own business. He is currently working on a Master Degree in Theology from the University of Notre Dame.
